The UK AI skills gap is real, measured, and unevenly distributed

The people most likely to approve AI spend are the least prepared to use it. That is the gap we close.

How we work

Four steps, each with a defined outcome and a clear handover to the next. You can start at any step, and most clients begin with Assess or Brief.

Four-step Learn AI process: Assess, Brief, Train, Embed, shown as a horizontal diagram with a labelled icon and descriptor under each step.
  1. Assess

Short, structured diagnostic of current tool use, skills gaps, and governance posture. Produces a personalised report.

  2. Brief

Half-day Executive AI Briefing for 6 to 12 senior leaders. Sector-specific, plain-spoken, aligned with UK regulation.

  3. Train

Role-specific workshops for teams of 5 to 20. Single half-day or a 4 to 6-week blended programme. 20/80 theory to practice.

  4. Embed

Ninety-day enablement: fortnightly office hours, curated prompt library, and an impact review at day ninety.

What clients tell us after a briefing

Named case studies follow once clients give permission. Until then, attributions are anonymised at the role and firm-type level.

  • The Executive Briefing gave our partners a shared vocabulary for AI in under a day. That alone justified the investment.

Managing Partner, mid-sized London law firm

  • Vendor-neutral, UK-regulation-literate, and focused on what fee-earners actually do. Nothing else in the market looks like this.

    Operations Director, regional accountancy practice

  • We had trained our teams twice already. Learn AI is the first provider that treated governance as part of the training, not a disclaimer.

Head of People, UK consultancy (50 to 100 staff)

Built for UK regulated teams

Three commitments we carry into every engagement. Professional-body alignments are pursued once we have case studies to substantiate them.

  • GDPR-compliant by design

Assessment data is stored in the UK, minimised by default, and retained only for the term stated in our privacy notice.

  • UK-based and UK-regulated

A trading style of The AI Consultancy (London) Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Trainers and associates are UK-based.

  • Vendor-neutral

No reseller commissions, no platform lock-in. Training covers the tools your firm uses, not the tools we are paid to promote.
